Fishing Down Under the Aussie way

Just a few shots of Monique and Duncans few days off and enjoying what Queensland has to offer. Fish Duncan caught was from the house and the one I caught was at Tangalooma. Is that a shark??? No it's was a pod ofdolphins that were playing around the boat sept my camera DOESN'T TAKE FAST ENOUGH PHOTOS !!!! DOH..all I got was the fins.and lastly cosy (Duncans dog) going for a swim... Maybe a dunk :o )..miss cloe (Moniques dog) didn't wanna get sand in her togs so she waited on the beach .

Baby Cowle - Hello Family from ME

Hello Family, I am waving to you from my nest, I am growing by the day, My mommy is feeding me well and now I am well past half way, all going well I should arrive round about the 26th MAY 2008. Hey did you check out my NOSE, now if that's not proof that I am a COWLE then nothing else will do the trick. Ok I think I am going to catch some sleep now, there is no TV or play-stations in this place. Remember the date we have, and you are all invited to the party. What a bash that's going to be. OuPa Bill and OuMa Ria are expected to have smiles that go right around there faces - round the ears and back round the other side. You should actually check them out now, they are so excited they cant even fit through the door with those broad shoulders they have. Seems I am going to make quite and entrance or should I say exit from this temporary accommodation, mind you it is getting a bit cramped in here as a grow daily. THE BECHARDS - DOWN UNDER IN AUSTRALIA

Tessy & Mitch started of in Primrose - Germiston and stayed at places over the East Rand, and ended up in a house in Groeneweide. this is where the kids grew up and went to Elspark Primary School. Then one day they woke up and said to one another lets go to P&P ( Pack for Perth). they packed their bags, sold the house, with three young kids, they were off on a plane to Australia, Mitch had family over there, and so they started a New Life. The kids grew up and they all became Aussie Citizens. Here they all stay and live the furthest away from us all. But with Blogs, Email, Skype, ICQ and MSN they are only a click of a mouse from our hearts. Now here is a major thing that they have above the rest of us. Both Great Grand MA & Grand Pa are alive and well - We all, with great love and Blessings wish them many more happy & healthy years for the future. Click here to see the expanded Family

THE WHITAKERS

THE WHITAKER FAMILY, started in Durban in the Lonsdale Hotel , West St Durban, married in Primrose Germiston then back to the farm in the Green Cortina , just outside of Salisbury-Rhodesia, then moved to White River to continue Tobacco farming, Then the big step into the building contractor slavery, they moved down to the South Coast - Port Edward. For a few years then headed back to Nelspruit and successfully launched LOWVELD CONSTRUCTION where today it is going from strength to strength. Dad & Son sweating it on site and Mom looking after the office. Carol and Paul get their kicks out of the children visits and the grand-children. Paul enhances his stress levels by Fishing with his pride and joy "THE GAFFER" . COOPERS IN DUBAI 2007

Well Dubai is looking a lot better since the Coopers were all there and together for Christmas, seems that the weather suits Shaun, what with fishing and playing golf and Meggan looks a bit sun-tanned aswell with a change of the weather and scenery. Pat and Allan had a whale of a time with the two of them home for Xmas, mind you, the house needed more people in it anyhow. These were taken late last year 2007. As a quadriplegic anything is possible as long as you have the fight to go ahead and fight and I try anything and everything so I have harvested spinach, beans, tomatoes, red n green peppers, radish, cucumbers, and lots of chillies. Boykie built the stand for the boxes to stand on. Monique supplied the white poly boxes. Mitch supplied the soil and the hard work to fill the boxes and I planted the seed and natured them. The results are what Love can do.

THECOWLES IN THE USA - TEXAS

Franky Charnelle, Cheane & Kirstyn Cowle, the American or should we say Texan flavour of the family. They packed up and left South Africa in 1994 also have met in Primrose Germiston, Got married and ended up staying in a house in Bonera Park - Atlas Ville just behind Jan Smuts Airport, this and the fact that Franky worked for SAF-AIR at the time was the sound of aircraft that caused the hum and buzz for them to pack their bags in 1994 and head for the States. They have visited S-Africa on holidays and in London, catching up with the family. The two girls now young ladies have achieved many things in life that Franky and Charnelle have duly proudly shared with us over the odd e-mail. Just to share a secret with you all FRANKY is 50 (FIFTY) years old this year, so watch the fire-works all over the States on the 4th of JULY 2008. They are planning a trip to the UK in March, so be sure to watch this space for some holiday photos. Just to get you going here are some older ones - "CLICK HERE"

THE BECHARDS DOWN UNDER

This posting is dedicated to Tessy, Mitch and all those wonderful kids and friends who have stood by her. From the photo's we can see a special bond and relationship that has been built between them, bubbling over with LOVE and affection. When Monique was over in the UK last year it was such a pleasure to see this little girl I once knew, all grown up and now a beautiful young lady. Then over there in Tessy's wonderland Australia, she gets a visit from Monica's Head Master from South Africa and an immediate bond is formed. And their first Christmas spent in Australia is the loss to the Nelspruit Whitakers - Sandra and James, Welcome to Down-Under to the Stapelbergs.

I am on my way - Baby LEOLIZMA ????

Yip - the time has come, about bloddy time. Bill and Ria are going to be OUMA EN OUPA round about 26th May 2008. Here are the first pictures of the expected little one. With the available technology "AMAZING" the very proud parents "LEON & ELIZMA" will know in a couple of weeks what colour to paint MY BEDROOM , if I am in the right mood and not shy to show off - you know what!(my next due scan) . This is a moment in life that all Parents live for - to change from MOM & DAD to GrandMa/GrandPA. BILL & MOLLY COWLE

Dad, after "World War 2" on his return to Gateshead - Newcastle Upon Tyne, he packed up is small family of Mom, Molly and Carol and a 1/2 Billy in early 1949 onto the ship and off to Africa . There they joined Uncle Frank and Aunty Mause. A short stay in Germiston then off to Swaziland, next stop was Bulawayo-Southern Rhodesia, up and down the railway-line we lived and ended up in Broken Hill -Northern Rhodesia, then of to Bwana-Makubwa and Ndola. From there in 1966 we returned to South Africa - Germiston, this time with a much bigger family, minus one Molly who stayed behind in Zambia.

Where are we today 1st January 2008 , Molly & Gordon still in Lusaka-Zambia, Carol & Paul in Nelspruit-South Africa, Billy & Ria in Woking-England, Tessy & Mitch in Brisbane-Australia, Tricia and Allan in Dubai-The Emirates, Franky and Charnelle in Texas-USA, Monica and Kevin in Edenvale-South Africa. and last but not least Kevin -somewhere on a world wide cruise.
